Conscious Content, aka "Humanity's Media Company," produced an ocean conservation short in which I briefly describe stony corals in 2019. Click on the illustration below (free from Wix, fantastic illustrator unknown) to reach the video. I'm the second person being interviewed.
Subaquatic Life
"Shallow Reef" was one of my favorite presentations to give while working as a marine naturalist at Maui Ocean Center in 2018 and 2019. Corals are so important to the planet's ecosystem - and even to the economy, and many people haven't yet had a chance to learn what these organisms are and how they function. I was delighted to help explain corals on a daily basis in this role.
Boy, was it fun to help out (and film) at this Pe'ahi Cleanup coordinated by Handsome Buggah Productions and Surfing Be Cause!
Audionautix produced the fantastic, royalty-free background track.

"Ke'e Beach Snorkeling" is one of my more meditative productions. George Kahumoku's Hawaiian slack key guitar is used with permission.

Here I am in 2010 as a volunteer docent for the U.C. Davis Bodega Marine Laboratory. I've always loved talking science!
